LeAnn Kathleen Kitchens started writing at a very early age. Her first juvenilia pieces inspired her to keep writing, and she later found it to be a passion that she could not put down. She attended Weatherford High School where she took advanced English classes and creative writing. She also wrote for the school newspaper, The Grass Burr. Currently, she is attending The University of North Texas, where she plans on attaining a PhD in Creative Writing and a minor in English Literature. Two of her most significant influences are William Faulkner and Robert Frost. Her favorite things to write are poetry and short stories. She hopes that sometime in the near future, she will be able to publish some of her creative works. She takes a lot of pride in everything that she writes and is very passionate about the English language.
